YYAS is hiring a residential life coordinator for its 2018 summer program in Rwanda and Ghana. The Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for students in each YYAS location; overseeing residential activities and program operations; and managing the overall health and wellness of all YYAS participants and staff during the program. Approximately 150 students and 20 staff members will participate in YYAS in each location. Due to the nature of this program, the Coordinator may also be asked to help perform other duties as assigned by the YYAS Leadership Team.

The 2018 program location dates* are as follows:

Rwanda: July 29 – August 7

Ghana: August 11 – August 20

*The Coordinator must be available from July 21 to August 20 for travel and programming in both locations.

Eligibility:

Successful applicants must be members of the Yale community. RN, LPN, or current Yale students pursuing a degree in the medical field (nursing, population health, medicine) are encourage to apply, and preferably with experience working with a teenage population in a residential setting, and/or in an emergency or primary care setting.
