YYAS & YYGS Applicants
Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) is a sister program to YYAS, and is designed for secondary students across the globe. Some students may be eligible to apply for both programs. You can learn more about the YYGS program, application, eligibility requirements, and more, on the YYGS website.
If you are interested in applying for both YYAS and YYGS, please take the following steps:
1) You can apply to both programs through either the YYGS or YYAS applications. However, we recommend creating a YYAS application.
2) In the beginning of the YYAS application, there is a section for you to indicate your interest in applying to the YYGS Program, too.
3) That’s it! By indicating your secondary interest, you will automatically be considered for both programs.
Your application will be considered for both YYAS and YYGS. However, applicants can receive only one offer of admission to either YYAS or YYGS.
Please Note: You can only create one application. Our system only recognizes one application, so if you create separate applications for each program, it’s likely your admissions decision will not be released and you will risk losing your chance for a spot in either program.
