Alvin Young
Alvin Young is serving as the YYAS Fellow in the leadership of the program. Prior to joining the YYGS team, Alvin worked as a Program Assistant at the Building Movement Project, a research organization focused on developing research and tools to help nonprofit organizations have an impact in building movements for progressive social change. Prior to joining BMP, Alvin worked as a Program Implementation Officer for Impact Network, a NGO geared towards improving the education sector in rural Zambia. Additionally, he brings to YYGS experience gained from internships with the United Nations and U.S. Congress. Alvin received his B.A from Marymount Manhattan College, and is a National Security David L. Boren Scholar and a Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Scholar.
