Maya McCabe

Program Administrator, Yale Young African Scholars

Maya McCabe joined the Yale Young African Scholars (YYAS) team in 2024. 

Prior to joining the YYAS team, Maya spent two years as a Math and Physics teacher on the island of Pemba, Zanzibar with the Peace Corps. She also taught at an all-boys boarding school in the US, and more recently worked as the Assistant Director of an Upward Bound Math/Science program. Maya has a B.A. in Physics and Education from Bowdoin College.
